PRESENTATION 6.00PM
NETWORKING AND LIGHT REFRESHMENTS 7.15PM

This event brings together a panel of professionals from across Queensland’s child protection landscape—including Child Safety, the Office of the Public Guardian, the Director of Child Protection Litigation, Legal Aid Queensland, DV Connect, QCAT and the Judiciary.
Together, we’ll explore the complex realities of cross-agency collaboration through the lens of a realistic case scenario. The discussion will address critical themes such as:
- Family violence and neglect
- Decision-making under pressure
- Ethical and legal intersections
- Intervention strategies and system challenges
Whether you’re new to the field or more experienced, this is a valuable opportunity to learn from a broad range of perspectives and participate in a meaningful conversation about how we can better protect Queensland’s children.
The panel discussion will run for approximately 40 minutes and will be followed by an audience Q&A and networking (including canapes/drinks).
