The ACCP is seeking study participants for research into what influences decision-making in relation to out-of-home care placements.
The Australian Centre for Child Protection (ACCP) is conducting research investigating the factors that influence decision making about the placement of children in out of home care. The purpose of this research is to inform developments to policy and practice in the area that leads to safe and stable out of home placements for children.
The ACCP are seeking child protection practitioners who are currently employed (or have been employed in the last 12 months) in Australia, in a role that involves making decisions about children when they enter out of home care. Participation will involve a telephone interview of around 1 hour in length.
This research has been approved by the University of South Australia Human Research Ethics Committee.
