A study on child protection judgement and decision making.

Researchers at the University of Queensland are seeking participants for research aimed at increasing our understanding of the process of judgement and decision making in child protection cases. The study aims to gather views on the factors that are important and prioritised in determining risk of harm to children.

We would like to invite Child Protection Practitioners to participate, including practitioners from different disciplines (e.g. family support workers, case workers). At this time, we are not seeking Child Safety Officers or other staff/officers working within the Queensland Department of Communities, or any other state or territory government child protection system, to participate as approval has not yet been given for their participation. Participation will involve anonymously completing an online survey of 30 minutes in length on average.

Please use the link below to access an information sheet and the questionnaire:https://exp.psy.uq.edu.au/childprotection.

Please contact Carla Newcombe, principal researcher, on 0417 225 177 or [email protected] with any questions or concerns.

Thank you for your contribution, it is greatly appreciated!
