Summary: Major reforms are underway in child protection and family support in Queensland. The Department of Communities, Child Safety & Disability Services has introduced a new framework to guide child protection practice with children and families.

This presentation will introduce the key elements of the Strengthening Families, Protecting Children framework for practice.  How do the processes and tools assist in making rigorous and balanced assessments in child protection?  How does the framework for practice interface with court work and court processes?
